Rave or Rip: Gold’s Gym Passes $22B Fitness Stimulus Package

DALLAS, April 14 /PRNewswire/ — In an effort to strengthen the health of the nation, Gold’s Gym has put together its own version of a stimulus package that is sure to generate bi-partisan support. The $22 billion Fitness Stimulus package is designed to empower Americans to not only improve their fitness levels, but to help improve the health of the economy as well.

The multi-pronged stimulus package focuses on three key areas: giving Americans an opportunity to work out for free, helping them assess their current fitness levels and providing them with a “how-to” guide on starting a successful exercise regimen. This approach includes $11 billion in free 7-day passes to Gold’s Gym, $11 billion in free health audits by a Gold’s Gym personal trainer and a free exercise guide.

“We can guarantee you that anyone who takes advantage of the free offerings from our fitness stimulus package will immediately feel the results,” said Robert Reames, Gold’s Gym fitness expert. “We’re confident that our plan will help ‘stimulate’ people to get off the couch and take up a more active and healthy lifestyle.”

To get started on a healthier lifestyle, Americans are invited to log on to www.goldsgym.com/stimulus for a free 7-day workout pass to any participating Gold’s Gym in America and to download the free exercise guide. Gold’s Gym is also encouraging people who are already engaged in physical fitness to use the Fitness Stimulus package as an opportunity to encourage their friends and family to do the same.

Although I always prefer to be active outdoors, I still hit my favorite gym twice a week. But if I didn’t already go to one, this would stimulate me!
