Low-Carb Recipe: Zesty Wings
By Pink Panther on Apr 16, 2009 with Comments 6
For all you that are on the low-carb diet or anyone that wants a tasty appetizer or dinner.
This is a great recipe and it is super-easy. I just add veggies (usually broccoli and cauliflower) and sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the veggies.
It does take an hour to cook but it’s well worth the wait: my kids love it when I make these wings for dinner!
150 CAL, 0 G CARB
4 lb whole chicken wings (drummettes attached)
1 c grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp dried parsley
1 Tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 c butter
-
Preheat oven to 350 F.
-
Separate wings from the drummette portion. (Remove pointy tips and freeze for soup if desired)
-
Combine cheese, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper in shallow bowl.
-
Line shallow baking pan with foil.
-
Melt butter in shallow bowl or pan.
- Dip each piece of chicken in butter, roll in cheese mixture, and arrange in foil-lined pan. Bake 1 hour.

Ooo-la-la. This recipe looks delicious! I’m going to save this for one of my “controlled greediness” days when I’ve worked out extra hard and eat about 8 wings!
