Hot topics: Susan Boyle – you ROCK!

Meet 47 year old, unemployed, never been kissed, Susan Boyle.  Just in case you missed this video, I had to post it.  This is a feel good story that brings a tear to my eye every time I see her. We heart you Susan Boyle.  Her life will now change and hopefully she find love, happiness and harmony (who am I to say she never already had it).

I LOVE this story!  It totally made my day. I heard about Susan Boyle on the radio when I was driving the kids to school the other morning. I got emotional and I hadn’t even seen the video at that point.  Now that I have, I’m even more amazed.  And embarrassed.

Everyone – including me – underestimated this lady. When she started singing not only did I feel humbled but I also felt about one inch tall.   What a great lesson for us all…this story reminded me that I should try not to judge people, especially not on their appearance.

It is also a great reminder that we should NEVER give up on our dreams!  It doesn’t matter who we are, or how old we are, if we have a dream we deserve to go after it!

I too love this story.  I first heard about it when I was watching The View.  Whoopi was talking about it and showed us a small clip.  When I heard her voice, I got goose bumps!

I wanted to see the whole clip so I went on You Tube to watch the whole thing; again I got goose bumps and a tear in my eye.  What an amazing person she is.  It goes to show you that if you have a dream, keep working at it and it will come true!

I think Amanda Holden, one of the judges, said it well: “We are very cynical, this was the biggest wake up call, ever!
