How to get rid of the FAT?

runnersYour fat-blasting walking routine is how!

Here is an amazing new shortcut that you absolutely must try.  Recently uncovered by University of Virginia scientists, the strategy actually takes less time than traditional walking working outs– yet it has been proven to melt four times more fat.

Why it works? Leisurely walks burn about 300 calories per hour; fast walks can burn 300 calories in as little 30 minutes.  But the U Va strategy does more than just burn calories.  It also offers these advantages:

  • You boost “after-burn” by 47%!
  • Shrink your appetite!

You can organize walks and rest days however you like.  Here is a sample schedule:

DAY 1

Take a longer, moderately paced walk.  Beginners should aim for 45-60 minutes.  As folks in U Va study became more fit, they gradually lengthened this work to about 90 minutes.

DAY 2

Take a short, very brisk walk.  You should be able to carry on a conversation, but just barely.  Beginners should aim for 20-30 minutes.  As folks in the U Va study became more fit, they either added some jogging or lengthened this walk to about 60 minutes.

DAY 3

Rest

DAY 4

Take a 45-60 minute moderately paced walk.

DAY 5

Take a very brisk 20-30 minute walk.

DAY 6

DAY 7

Take a very brisk 20-30 minute walk.

Is this a recommended work out for all levels? I love the idea of walking and getting great results- I am a runner and so I wasn’t sure if this was for beginners or for everyone (hopefully everyone :)

Walking is great. I can’t do some of the exercises that are high impact, but I love walking and I take my dog and my sister for company (not sure which is better sometimes).
