Review: It’s Spring Time at prAna

Spring is my favorite time of year and around this neck of the woods, there are a few signs that Spring is on its way.

But over at prAna Spring has arrived!

I’ve already confessed my love for prAna’s Fall Collection.  I love that PrAna does such an awesome job at laid back cuteness without sacrificing style and comfort.

I always know I can count on functionality, quality, sustainability, attention to detail and last but DEFINITELY not least, style from prAna. (‘Cause to me working out isn’t about looking good as an end result, it’s about feeling and looking great in your body throughout your fitness journey.)

The element of sustainability has been one that has become more important to me over the last couple of years. prAna is always looking for new ways ensure a level of sustainability into their materials and practices, working to reduce the impact on soils, water supplies and other natural resources. They’ve even got a Director of Sustainability.

Kudos to prAna! And other companies are slowly starting to stand up and take notice of the great ideas that fitness wear companies are incorporating. Yay!

From their Spring Collection catolog, I got to take some pieces to the Yoga Studio and than off to the office.

Because hey, you have to look good no matter where you go, right!

First up, to the Yoga Studio:

The Etta Top: 

Elegant and poised, the Etta Top is made from our ultra-comfy Veeda performance fabric. Vibrant paisley sublimation print on front and back is fade-resistant. Single asymmetrical shoulder strap for contemporary style; internal shelf bra lends discreet support while practicing yoga.

This top is super soft and comfortable.  The built in bra has a shelf if you want to add some padding.   I have never seen anyone with a top as unique as this one, with the color, design and the different straps.  Love!

For the bottoms:  The Audrey Pant

Like its knicker sister, the Audrey pant is made of fitted Chakara performance fabric with a gusset for added comfort and complete freedom of movement. Quick drying, stretchy, shape retaining, yet comfortably soft, this pant is meant for mindful yoga practice. An elastic inside waist construction keeps the pant well secured without squeezing.

These are just your basic black yoga pants plus more.  I cannot have enough of this type of pants.  These pants are super comfortable and of course, very stretchy.  I really like the extra elastic at the waist for added tummy slimming.  I could live in pants like these. 

Now showered up, and than off to the office:

The Rita top:

Free flowing grace for free spirits. Rita’s poncho styling has South American roots.

The picture does not do this top justice.  It is so cute on with a pair of jeans.  It is a poncho style so when you lift your arms it reveals a perfect half circle.   Its super free flowing and has great lace detail at the neck.   This will be a staple for me in the Spring and Summer.  Cute! 

The Parissa Jacket

A soft and warm French terrycloth jacket constructed from 100% organic cotton. Glamour’s not usually this comfortable.

I love the color of this jacket.  The high neckline looks really good as well as the Swallowtail front hemline.  The over sized hammered buttons are a nice touch.  Once again this will be great with jeans or you could dress it up to go out on the town.
