<p>So, how&#8217;d he do it? Running around his London neighborhood rather than diving into late-night meals. &#8220;I stick to the paths,&#8221; he says of Heath jogs, adding, &#8220;I didn&#8217;t eat differently. I probably just stopped having that second meal at 11:30 at night.&#8221;</p>
<p>Jane Fallon, Gervais&#8217;s partner of more than 25 years, believes that she, too, had a role in his weight loss. &#8220;I think it is because I was trying to lose weight as well,&#8221; she said. &#8220;So I was cooking healthier version of what we were eating. He didn&#8217;t realize that I was probably feeding him less calories at the same time he was running.&#8221;</p>
<p>The cooking of &#8220;healthy versions of big fat things&#8221; really paid off for the couple. &#8220;I lost about 18 lbs.,&#8221; Fallon said. &#8220;I tend to run about three or four miles and he does the same. &#8221;</p>
<p>One drawback? &#8220;Now I&#8217;ve got to stop making jokes about fat people, which is annoying,&#8221; Gervais said. &#8220;When I was fat, it was okay.&#8221;</p>

We’ve learned she has signed up with weight loss giant Weight Watchers to <strong>lose her baby weight</strong>. So what makes that newsworthy? She hasn’t even had the babyyet.</p>
<p>Simpson has signed a $3 million contract with <strong>Weight Watchers</strong> to start trying to lose weight immediately following the birth of her first child in 2012. This endorsement deal can give the impression that immediate focus on weight loss after delivery is the norm. It also highlights the popular celebrity trend of having your pre-pregnancy body back six weeks after giving birth, which isn’t realistic for most women. Sources state that Simpson will also be preparing for her wedding to Eric Johnson shortly after giving birth, which offers some insight into her wanting to lose weight so quickly. Although it has been stated that Simpson will only be trying to lose her pregnancy weight, it is questionable that weight loss be her main focus immediately after giving birth. During that time, her body will be making some big adjustments going from growing the baby to feeding and caring for the baby. If Simpson plans to breastfeed, she will actually need to consume more calories instead of cutting back. </p>
<p>For new moms, losing baby weight is not discouraged, but it must be done in a healthy manner. You have to give your body time to heal from the delivery and take things slowly. Some of the best pointers from moms who have been there include drink lots of water, keep healthy snacks available, eliminate junk food and try to fit in exercise whenever you can. The most important thing to remember is not to go overboard with cutting calories. If you are breastfeeding, cutting too many calories can hurt your milk supply. If you’re not breastfeeding, cutting too many calories can put your body into starvation mode, hindering your weight loss.</p>
<p>Many women neglect their own health after having their baby. Remember to make some time for yourself, which will help in your weight loss journey. Weight Watchers does offer arrangements within their plan for moms who are breastfeeding, so their program can be used after giving birth. Hopefully, <strong>Jessica Simpson</strong> will remember to take the proper healing time before jumping into weight loss after giving birth.</p>

Hosted by Natalie Morales, “William &amp; Kate: Inside the Royal Marriage” will delve deep into the personal lives of these newlyweds. Today we spoke with Matt Drury, executive producer, and Chris Jackson, Getty Images’ award-winning Royal photographer, who worked on the special and let us in on a little bit of what we’ll see on the program and what it’s like to work so closely with the couple.</p>
<p>We’ll see how William and Kate are building a private life that resembles <em>normal</em> as much as the most famous couple in the world can. Drury told us that their home is quite remote and that they do not have any live-in staff. He also noted some insight shared by Royal friend Ben Fogle, who said that the Duke and Duchess are very selective about the friends they associate with, suggesting an “informal agreement that if anyone does talk, they’ll very quickly find themselves banished from the inner circle.”</p>
<p>One of the things that no one ever discusses is Kate’s diet. In fact, Drury let us know that nothing about <strong>Kate’s diet</strong> will be revealed on the NBC special.</p>
<p>“Interest is fever pitch in America,” said Drury on the network’s decision to produce this special for the U.S. and not the U.K. We’d agree with that observation about the interest in Catherine from Americans, as <strong>The Dukan Diet</strong> was number eight on our <strong>Most Popular Diets of 2011</strong> list. In the months leading up to The Royal Wedding, for which the special will provide never-before-seen details, everyone wanted to know how Kate was keeping her slender figure. Rumors sent Royal watchers looking for The Dukan Diet, a high-protein, cyclical diet penned by French author Dr. Pierre Dukan. In fact, not only was Kate linked to the diet, but the mother of the bride was as well. Dukan or not, the entire Middleton family looked stunning at the wedding.</p>
<p>Rumors about Kate’s diet have quieted in recent months as the Royal Bump Watch has taken over. No doubt when the formal announcement is made about a baby, something that is not likely to be a part of the NBC special, everyone will want to know how Kate will maintain a healthy lifestyle during her pregnancy.</p>

So how did the stars get into shape for their near naked honeymoon scenes?</p>
<p>Robert Pattinson who plays the vampire Edward admitted that he felt intimidated next to co-star Taylor Lautner’s ripped physique. He wanted to look good in his shirtless honeymoon scenes in <em>Breaking Dawn </em>so he eliminated candy and beer from his diet for a while. He also spoke candidly about his workouts with off screen girlfriend and movie co-star Kristen Stewart.</p>
<p>“Me and Kristen went nuts working out, because we hadn’t worked out for any of the previous films,” he said. Before the shirtless scenes in the movie, Pattinson made an effort to avoid empty calories and exercise more. The changes were only temporary though. Pattinson admits, “I had good abs for, like, two weeks. As soon as I didn’t have to be shirtless anymore, my good diet habits were gone immediately.” </p>
<p>Kristen Stewart has been vocal about not working out much in the past, but she also wanted to be in shape for some of the honeymoon scenes in the movie. Her workouts included <strong>yoga</strong>, horseback riding, aerobics, <strong>Pilates</strong> and minimal resistance training. These workouts have helped her stay trim and lean without looking unhealthy. For her diet, she went a little healthier. While preparing for the movie she admitted, “Well it’s kind of embarrassing but I’m playing a vampire soon. I eat disgustingly normally. I’m trying to not put so much butter in my food and stuff like that.”</p>
<p>Taylor Lautner, on the other hand, had to gain more than 30 pounds of muscle for his role as Jacob Black in the beginning of the Twilight franchise. He regularly practices marital arts and is naturally trim and athletic. Lautner worked out with <strong>personal trainer</strong> Jordan Yuam and fitness coach Vince Del Monte. His training was split across five days working different muscle groups on different days. Workouts were mainly large muscle group compound movements like squats, dead lifts and the bench press. Taylor’s diet included lots of protein including meat, fish, eggs and protein powder to help his body recover. He also ate every two to three hours, increased his overall food intake and ate good sources of carbs.</p>
<p>All three stars of the movie have worked hard to get their bodies where they want them for their movie roles, even if they weren’t thrilled about it. We just hope for their health, the stars continue their healthy habits.</p>
