Underwater Yoga

‘Nixie’ The Underwater Yoga Art Project Is Playful, Inspirational and Fluid – Watch:
Produced by Hom Yoga Singapore, camera and water
A ‘Nixie’ is a type of river mermaid who lures men into the waters to drown according to German mythology.
When a ‘Nixie’ is in human form, you can recognise them by their wet clothes and love for song and dance. I think we all know a Nixie.
Filming Underwater
Director Kim Ooi filmed his chosen Nixie’s with a specialist underwater DSLR with an underwater housing.
In the filming of ‘Nixie’, the lens cover was scratched which gave the film an organic look which was not expected. This is one of many underwater yoga art videos he’ll be making.
