How Does Lady Gaga Maintain Her Rock Hard Abs?

Lady Gaga with her eccentric outfits and bizarre makeup makes her a celebrity that’s definitely hard to miss. Aside from her alluring voice and her strikingly beautiful face, Lady Gaga is famed for her rock hard abs.

It’s super obvious that she’s proud of it. The “Million Reasons” singer is always spotted sporting sexy crop tops that shows off her finely chiseled abs and we can’t help but admire how she does it.

Lady Gaga is one for the books. Her uniqueness is admirable and she continues to impress us with her uncanny ability to silence those who body shamed her during her half-time performance in Super Bowl.

Apparently, there were bashers who weren’t impressed with the singer’s physique during her performance. But she wasn’t moved. She even said, “I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I’m proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too.” Wow, now that’s how you silence haters.

But looking at her, it’s just ridiculous for people to body shame someone like Lady Gaga with her amazing figure. Gaga lets us in on how she maintains her rock hard abs despite her crazy schedule. What Is Lady Gaga’s Secret?

Lady Gaga’s longtime friend and personal chef Bo O’Connor spills the beans on how the singer keeps herself fit even when she’s touring the globe. In an interview with Self she said, “she knows that there’s no cheating.”

When asked what a typical lunch or dinner she would prepare for Lady Gaga she said, “Something like quinoa with black beans, grilled shrimp, beautiful veggies.

We want it to be healthy, tasty, filling, nutritious, and full of fiber. I really focus on meals that are good in taste but also healthy for your body. What we eat is what our bodies are.

Being on tour or just performing all of the time, it’s exhausting. Being able to provide your body with good nutrients, including those that are in vegetables and fruit, is everything.”

When asked a hypothetical question about what if Lady Gaga craves for a thick and juicy burger O’Connor answered, “”If she wanted a burger and fries, we wouldn’t be doing fast food.

“So instead, I’d make her turkey burger, gluten-free, lots of spices, and baked sweet potato fries. At least she’s feeling that she can indulge a little bit and have something similar to a real burger but is still good for you.”

Bo O’Connor has been a close friend of Lady Gaga ever since they were in kindergarten that is why she knows exactly what the singer loves to eat and she knows the kinds of food that are best for her. Isn’t that amazing? Having a best friend for a chef?

Since Lady Gaga and Bo O’Connor are always touring the globe O’Connor says she makes sure she brings with her little packets of almond butter since she knows the singer loves to put it on everything!

She always brings bananas and Scandinavian crackers as healthy snacks in case Lady Gaga gets hungry in between performances.

But it isn’t just her meal plan that made her look the way she does. Lady Gaga also has the determination and the discipline to follow through with her fitness routine. And here’s what hse does:

Workout Schedule

Lady Gaga also sticks to a fitness workout tailored by her loyal trainer Harley Pasternack.

Do you know that even when the singer is on tour she still works out? What does that make you feel about yourself?

Kidding aside, Lady Gaga works out five times in a week with minimum workout duration of twenty-five minutes a day.

And if you want to know how she got rock hard abs? The secret? Crunches! Lots and lots of them!

Harley starts Gaga’s workout with a basic crunch and then slowly modifying it into a reverse crunch and then lastly into a double crunch.

Healthy Diet

Gaga follows a 5 Facto Diet which means she is allowed to eat five times a day with two meals and three snacks BUT it has to belong to these five categories: healthy fats, lean protein, fiber, sugar-free beverage and low glycemic carbs. According to Harley Gaga’s favorite snacks are tofu, coconut water, hummus and turkey slices.

Yoga

Gaga also loves to do yoga and has developed a habit to do yoga wherever she goes. So even while she’s on tour or in a different country, she always sneaks out to do some yoga exercises. She said, “Yoga makes me feel like I can do anything.”

Lady Gaga is just like you and me except that she’s a celebrity singer and we’re not.

But what makes her the same as us is the fact that when she doesn’t practice discipline she’ll balloon and get fat just like the rest of us.

What makes her amazing is the fact that although she has all the money in the world to afford herself expensive meals, she practices control and she has the discipline to exercise no matter how busy she gets.
